The objective of the bootcamp was to develop a landing page showcasing something I am passionate about while demonstrating proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My final project was a personalized website dedicated to coffee, crafted with attention to detail and incorporating user interaction features. This project not only showcased my creativity but also allowed me to implement key coding concepts such as responsive design, element positioning, and event handling.
Skills and Learning
Through SheCodes, I gained a comprehensive understanding of coding principles and best practices. I learned to utilize HTML elements like <div>, <img>, and <button>, stylize with CSS properties including font-size, background, and box-shadow, and enhance functionality using JavaScript functionalities such as if-else statements, alert() dialogs, and prompt() interactions. My instructor praised my clean and organized code, affirming my ability to troubleshoot and refine my designs efficiently.

I implemented a feature to enrich user experience by providing links to external resources. These links were strategically placed throughout the site to offer users the opportunity to explore additional information about coffee history and various recipes.
As part of my Introduction to Coding bootcamp with SheCodes, I developed an interactive form using JavaScript to simulate user engagement. This exercise involved creating prompts for user input, including name, email, and preferences, which would trigger personalized responses like "Welcome to our little coffee club, [name]!" This project allowed me to hone my frontend skills in form validation, user interaction design, and JavaScript event handling. While the form didn't collect real data, it served as a pivotal learning experience in creating responsive and engaging web interfaces.
